Level 1: Students will learn basic foundational sequence for a full body supine (face-up) Northern Style Massage included foot, legs, limbs, stomach, hands, arms, shoulders, neck, head, and face, fundamental concepts, history, philosophy, and the practice of classic Northern Style Massage as was originally developed and documented over 50 years ago and still taught to this day at Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Students who enrolled and completed the Level 1 course will receive a certificate of completion of Basic Thai Massage Level 1 certified from the Old Medicine Hospital Thai Massage School Shivagakomarpaj.

This Level 2 course completes the 2-Part series of basic foundational courses. The student will learn the additional required sequences of side lying, prone, and seated positions.

Level 3: Discover beyond OMH’s signature techniques such as Half Moon, Cobra, and learn more advanced Lanna style Thai folk techniques in our Level 3 transformative course. Elevating your skills to new heights with direct guidance from the original instructors. Additionally, gain insight into the science of Herbal Hot Compress therapy, a technique that utilizes herbal balls for muscle massage.

Students who enrolled and completed the Level 3 and Level 4 courses will receive a certificate of completion. Students who complete all four levels of Thai massage will receive a pin of honor from the Shivagakomarpaj lineage.

Learn fundamental concepts, history, and philosophy directly from the original master, Ajahn Wasan Chaichakan, the second-generation custodian of his family's legacy. Through his historical narrative, you'll discover OMH's recognition as the birthplace of all Northern-Style Thai Massage and the roots of the Northern "Lanna" Style Thai massage a pivotal aspect of Thailand's heritage. Also expansion of the Level 3 course, focusing on the alleviation of pain in the legs, feet, knees, and back. This course covers theory, technique instruction, and hands-on practice of the Sen Sib (10 Main Energy Lines).

Students who enrolled and completed the Level 4 course will receive a certificate of completion and will receive a pin of honor from the Shivagakomarpaj lineage.

7-hour course with Thai Herbal Hot Compress, a popular Thai remedy to detoxify and promote general well-being. Herbal healing has deep roots in Thai culture. Herbal heat compress is the best-known traditional therapy that dates back to ancient times when it was the secret healing technique of Buddhist monks, local herbal healers and midwives. The herbal heat compress contains numerous healing herbs that complement the massage. Traditional Thai medicine uses herbal heat compression for the treatment of sprains, muscle pain, bruises and swelling. Used in postnatal care treatment: reduces swelling, drains waste, ideal for a mother recovering from pregnancy.

Course meets only on Thursday of 1st and 3rd week of each month. (This is day 4 of Level 3 course).

Thai aroma massage integrates methods using Eastern and Western modalities, based upon ancient Thai massage philosophy. Students learn to integrate Thai-style deep massage, yoga stretching with western-style Swedish massage, and to adapt techniques and develop a custom style.

Learning Technique instruction and practice for 2 days. Pamper your feet and legs with a deeply relaxing massage using herbal massage balm and applied pressure to the reflex points on the sole of the feet which correspond to the body’s organs and systems.

Emphasis’s of these points releases energy blockages throughout the body, re-establishing the body’s natural energy flow and healing mechanisms.

We offer a 3-day (18-hour) short introductory course designed for individuals who want to experience the techniques of Thai massage. It's important to note that while this course provides valuable knowledge and hands-on training, the 18-hour duration does not qualify for a certificate of completion. Nonetheless, it offers a wonderful opportunity to delve into the fundamentals of Thai massage and gain practical skills in a condensed timeframe.
